About Dr Rajen Cooppan
Dr Rajen Cooppan (MBChB, MD, Adv. Dip. Ayurveda, Dip. Nutritional and Natural Medicine) commenced private GP Practice in 1990 in Durban, Integrated Functional and Nutritional Medicine into GP practice. From 1986 to 1992, he trained in Ayurvedic Medicine under mentorship of Ayurvedic Physician Dr Sunil Joshi (BAMS). From 1999 to 2004, Dr Rajen developed and taught the Foundation Training in Clinical Ayurveda (FTCA) in Australia and trained 180 health care, GPs and Natural Medicine practitioners.
Dr Rajen served on the Complementary Medicine Committee of the Federal Govt of Australia / TGA as Expert Advisor. Dr Rajen served as Expert Advisor to the Complementary Medicine Committee of the Medicines Control Council of South Africa.
Dr Rajen is the author of 4 books on Wellness and Ayurveda and published the FTCA Manual for training Students in Clinical Ayurveda – 1999.
Dr Rajen has lectured internationally on Ayurvedic Medicine, Natural Medicine, Nutritional Medicine. Published 24 peer reviewed papers in international journals.
About Neerja Ahuja
Neerja Ahuja – Adv. Dip. in Ayu., Dip Human Values, Trained Yoga teacher, M.A. (Maths. Statistics), Grad. Dip. (Computing), is Principal Consultant at Ayurveda Awareness Centre (AAC) and started first Ayurveda Registered Training Organization in Australia, offering qualifications up to Adv. Diploma. Neerja is a published writer for professional journals. Neerja consults clients for diet, lifestyle routines for physical, mental and emotional hygiene, offering Ayurvedic detoxification and de-stressing treatments.
As a course facilitator and practitioner, she has acquired a deep understanding of human psychology and how emotional and mental hygiene helps to reverse the disease process and improve the quality to life.
Her online courses have been taken up by students in 135 countries. She runs workshops, seminars and courses in Ayurveda both inhouse and for other organizations.
