All over the world, we are facing an epidemic of lifestyle-related diseases like diabetes, obesity, heart diseases, etc., as a result of stress, improper diet and irregular or sedentary lifestyle.  

Ayurveda emphasises on the prevention of diseases, besides working on treating illness. There is importance on Ahara (life-supporting diet) and Vihara (Life-supporting lifestyle) in that context.  

The way we live and the many little things we do in our daily lives have a significant effect on our health and well-being. Conducting our lives in ways that nurture and support our body, mind, & soul depends mainly on our ability to know what is good for us and the motivation to act on what we know.  

The Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle promotes physical, mental, and social health and ultimately lead to symptomatic improvement and improvement in quality of life, helping to prevent and manage diseases.
